The Annual General Meeting of Castle Combe Racing Club will take place at the Cafe Bar H (Tavern), Castle Combe Circuit at 6.30pm followed by 7.00pm Buffet.

Anthony Reid to be Guest Speaker at AGM
Although best known for racing in British Touring Car Championship during the 90s for Nissan and Ford Anthony’s professional career began in Sports Cars with 3rd place at the 1990 Le Mans 24-hour race in a Porsche 962. This led to 6 years of successful racing in Japan, driving Sports Cars, Touring Cars and included winning the Japanese F3 Championship against top quality drivers including Jacques Villeneuve, Tom Kristensen and Rikard Rydell.
Racing with team mate Jordan Witt, Anthony was crowned 2011 British GT Champions (GTC) in a Works Chevron. More recently Anthony has been racing Touring Cars in South America for the Works Honda Petrobras Team and also engaged in film work with Top Gear.
Anthony is renowned as ‘King of the Hill’ at Goodwood Festival of Speed and also as a multiple Goodwood Revival class winner. He’s renown for ‘pulling it out of the bag’ and beating stiff competition from mainstream supercar manufacturers up Goodwood’s famous Hill and in 2018 at the wheel of a distinctive BAC Mono, completed the famous Hillclimb in just 49.13 seconds to become the fastest supercar ever to compete in the shoot-out.
Anthony is also the most successful House Captain at Goodwood Members meeting, steering his Methuen House to multiple victories. In 2018 he has been additionally racing for Porsche GB and with 1970 Le Mans winner Richard Attwood and together they won the class in their 1964 Porsche 911 SWB at Donington Park in the HSCC Guards Trophy. He’s also a contracted test driver and ambassador for BAC Mono.
