The Circuit’s 70th anniversary fell in July 2020, but celebrations were postponed due to the pandemic. Now two years later, things are returning to normal, and our busy racing season is well underway, finally concluding on November 12th with the long-awaited Birthday & Championship Awards dinner.
This glitzy end-of-season black-tie occasion has motor racing and aviation as its principal themes. Held at Aerospace Bristol’s Museum, a stunning venue in Patchway within the boundaries of Bristol City the venue is steeped in aviation history and is now home to one of the Concorde airliners it helped build. This example of 1960s technology will now provide a unique and atmospheric backdrop for guests to enjoy this special evening with tables arranged below the supersonic aircraft’s internationally famous fuselage and delta wings, providing lots of unique photo opportunities for guests
This spectacular setting has enough space to accommodate displays of motor vehicles and in addition, guests are able to tour Concorde’s compact yet futuristic cabin and visit the adjoining aviation museum before enjoying an aperitif on the mezzanine balcony alongside Concorde: Alpha Foxtrot G-BOAF
