Porsche grid adds to bumper Midsummer Mania race day action
Castle Combe Racing Club’s Midsummer Mania race day on 31 August will feature a guest appearance from the CALM All Porsche Trophy, adding even more variety to one of the busiest events of the season.
The series, known for its mix of classic and modern Porsche machinery, will contest two 20‑minute races plus a 20‑minute qualifying session – all for a £250 entry fee.
The addition brings another dimension to a race day already packed with Castle Combe’s own four championships for Formula Ford 1600, GT, Saloon Car and Hot Hatches – plus another guesting championship, the BARC OT Publishing Coupe Coupe with Toyo Tyres (for Hyundai Coupes).
Also on the timetable is the Castle Combe 100 – a 40‑minute mini‑enduro for closed‑wheel cars, offering teams and solo drivers a chance to stretch strategy and stamina in equal measure.
With 13 races on the bill in total, Midsummer Mania promises a bumper day of racing and a true celebration of club motorsport at one of Britain’s most demanding and popular circuits.
